Until a few years ago, the Swedish Historial Association was able to sponsor (so to speak) the distribution of Historisk tidskrift to foreign libraries etc through very low subscription fees. With recent years' increased production costs due to the inflation, and due to the fact that Swedish Postnord has raised postage costs for shipments outside Sweden, that has become impossible for the association. Therefore, the board of Swedish Historical Association has decided that from next year on, the subscription fees must correspond to the costs of producing and distributing the journal.
